Photography: Ghost images by Die Booth
Spooky applause to everyone who has so far entered our Phantom Photo Contest, deadline Wednesday, February 16th!
Here's some more examples to set the mood. It was a dark, dark night...
...and my partner and I were walking by a deconsecrated church near to where we live. This is historically the location of the city plague burial pit. Executed witches were buried in the churchyard. There is a herd of ghost cows seen at the bottom of the hill (one of which I've actually seen and heard). All in all, it is reputedly a very haunted location. The church looks very nice all lit up at night and I was attempting to get a good flash-less photograph of it on my not-so-good digital camera.

However on the second photograph I took to try and get it less blurry, there appeared something forming in the air which we only noticed when I uploaded the photographs to my laptop.

...OK, I'd like to say this is a genuine ghostly photograph but it's actually me trying to get a convincing 'ghost form' by using the effect breath makes on camera when it's very cold weather (and it was VERY cold!) All the facts in the first paragraph I wrote are true though ;-)
